BooBoo (not the dog)
Oops. Mega Pictures. I need some more lessons. I used compose this time and there was no options.
Boo and Abby
Here are the pictures of the dog haircuts as I promised a while back. I learned how to post a picture. The haircut was a couple of weeks ago. They had lion cuts in the winter, but no pictures. Now they were getting a regular summer cut and it was still cold. Abby shivered all the time so she has Boo's t-shirt on. Her t-shirt would not stay on. Abby was so knotted up from her lion cut that I had to shave her head and ears, too. Now she looks like a puppy, or a terrier or anything but a poodle. Hop you like the pix.

Dalek
For all the Dr. Who fans out there, this is my Dalek. I made it in my preschool when we learned about robots. The star is it's shooter, and the pipe cleaner the plunger-like thing. I love Dr. Who and the Daleks.

ALIA--IT'S YOUR DAY!!!!
(:Happy birthday Alia.:) What a great day to be five. Let me tell a story about Alia. On May 31, 2006 her mother and father left early for the hospital because this was the day she was going to be born by appointment. No guessing the day, it was already set. Grandma Kempe and Grandma Hall were left at home to take care of Kobin and Jessica. We left in the morning to do a little shopping and stopped to eat at Burger King in Sikeston while we waited for that phone call. As we finished lunch the call came. Alia was here!! and she was doing fine!! We jumped into the car and drove to Cape Girardeau to see her.
What a darling little girl. She was so pink and pretty and wrapped up tight in a blanket in her mother's arms. It was so fun for each of us to hold her and rock her and say, "Hi, Alia. Welcome to the family."
In a few days Alia came home to live. She was so tiny and cute. She slept all day and sometimes she slept at night, too. Mommy was very tired and sore because she had surgery so for a few nights she slept in the big lounge chair and one or another grandma slept in the big waterbed so we could get up when she woke up to eat and give her to Mommy. That way Daddy could sleep so he could go to work. Then we would change her diaper and rock her if she didn't go back to sleep.
It was so much fun to have this sweet baby girl in the family. We all love her and wish her the very best, happiest birthday in the world

Alia in Springtime
We took this photo a few days ago. Everyone at church said she looked like a princess. Of course, she loved that!

Posting pictures

There are a couple of ways to add pictures. The easist is to click the on the picture frame above the text box you are using. (next to the word link )
Then click on upload then click on Browse. . .

then you have to find it on your computer.

Then once it is uploaded (you can see it on the screen) click on Add Selected.

Then just click on the picture in the the text box and you can make it larger or center it or remove it.

I don't particularly love this way and maybe if you want I will show you how to do it using picasa web albums and a bit of "copy and pasting". That is how I usually do my pictures. I am sure others do it differently but that is just what works best for me. As I was trying this technique it was taking forever to upload the pictures I wanted to add. So maybe in a little bit I will show you how to do it the other way.
Since I was posting pictures I thought I might add one from our latest adventures at the zoo. Here were are at the zoo. (this collage was created in Picasa too.) If you want I can do a demo on how to use that, it is a perfect place to add words and to make collages. Let me know if you are interested in that too.
Enjoy!
